'Gimmel', comes from the Latin 'gemllus', meaning twin. The gemmel ring is a design of two or more bands joined together, were commonly used in 16th and 17th century to signify a betrothal or marriage. When the bands swivel and align they become one ring, symbolising the union of two people.
A marriage may consists both love and affections, and sometimes it may frustrates and discourages each other. But, once it passes through, the stronger and deeper your love will become. Similar to our twisted wedding ring, it encourages time and passion in order to develop a perfect silhouette. Our wedding course is not only about making jewellery, but is also about the growth of maturity in love between each other.
Wedding bands don't have to be plain and dull just because diamonds are for engagement rings. These faceted wedding bands carry on the luxe exhibited in the facets of precious stones.
Bi-Coloured Wedding Bands
Born to be a timeless design, the Fusion rings utilises different metals to create a stark contrast between the colour of different gold alloys. Slanted at 45°, a dash of colour breathes life into an ordinary gold band, showcasing contemporary design and technical precision.
As wedding bands, the pair of rings exchange a thin segment of it’s metal, much like a couple exchange their vows.
Anyone with a wedding band on can’t help but rotate it around our fingers when ponder upon deep thoughts. The Classical Oval ring is a jeweller’s answer to this peculiar habit; an oval band hemmed in by another ring with a curved surface, the interlocked rings glides along one another orbiting the finger.
Composed of two different gold alloys, this contemporary design flaunts a variety of colours created with precious metals. Inlaid with a fine sheet of white gold, each cut reveals the brightly coloured variant underneath while the varying depths of each cut cast a mild shade to further accentuate the tonal nuances. From the side, the distinct colours of the gold alloys become even bolder, flaunting the intricacies of every groove.
