印章戒指的歷史源遠悠長。傳統的印戒是給貴族們用於文件上簽署，他們多數會在戒指刻上家族的標誌，再壓在蜂蠟或黏土上。基於貴族的繼承性，當配戴者逝去時印戒大多會被破壞，所以，經過歷史遺留的印戒已經很稀有及相當珍貴。現今印章戒指已成為時尚首飾，不論男女也可以配戴。
我們今次的工作坊，主要是希望介紹傳統金工技藝打造戒指的方法，即使你沒有任何金屬製作的經驗也歡迎參與！
Signet rings are part of a time-honoured tradition practiced by aristocrats. Family crests were usually engraved onto the top of the ring and used as personal signatures when pressing onto hot wax or clay. Besides using as an official seal, signet rings were also symbols of family heritage. Antique signet rings are valuable and rare in modern days as they were often destroyed once their owner passes.
In this workshop we will guide you step by step creating you own signet ring using traditional silver smithing method starting from a flat piece of silver. You will learn basic silver smithing techniques such as piercing, annealing, filing, polishing and etc. Do not hesitate to join us if you would like to challenge yourself!

For the laser engraving graphic or initial on the signet ring surface, laser engraving will be an extra of at least HKD450 per ring.
