Drop by Drop Ring by Ines Nunes
A Lisbon based jeweller, Ines Nunes can perhaps be more accurately defined as an experimentalist who favours using wearable-objects as her medium. Her belief that “contemporary jewellery should cause reaction, response and confrontation” to both the creator and its wearer is the driving force behind her unconventionally charismatic work.
Her ‘Drop by Drop’ collection perfectly conveys her eccentrically charming design style. Clusters of tiny off-round metal slices conjoined in an organic composition, the designer’s own interpretation of structural beauty challenges our cliched preconceptions.
