Combining handcrafted goldsmithing techniques with modern engineering precision, identical mother-of-pearl panels are meticulously arranged into precise geometrical prisms.
Accentuating the natural material’s unique iridescent quality, interior of the hollow structures is lined with 18k gold. The facets allow for a multitude of surface refractions, enlivening the piece and highlighting the 3-dimensional cartesian forms.
The iridescent veneer and pristine geometry render the maker’s unique aesthetic to recognizable shapes reminiscent of Mesopotamian artefacts to create a contemporary relic that embodies the maker’s passion for historic jewels.
