Shirley Yu, graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2023, views handcrafted jewelry not merely as a craft but as her second language. Through jewelry making, she captures her perceptions of the world and reflections on life, aiming to express the flow and rhythm of life through the forms of natural elements. By infusing her work with the romance inherent in streamlined aesthetics, she hopes to create pieces that establish a connection beyond the jewelry itself, extending into the lives of those who wear them.
